Hi, I’m Allie.
Let’s write stories that move people.
Sharing stories is fundamental for connecting with each other and the earth. My approach to developing stories is strengthened by a decade of experience as an outdoor educator, where I learned to center warmth and curiosity in each lesson. Together, we can identify and develop your most compelling stories yet.
I’m a writer and editor who “gets it.”
I’m here for when it’s good, and I’m also here for when it gets tough. As a published poet, I’ve experienced the critiques, the highs, and the lows that come with a creatively driven life. Writer’s block, motivation, stress, deadline pressure—I get it. As your guide, I’ll work with you to find the right mix of rest, motivation, and accountability.
I’ve taught writing at the college level, too.
I believe everyone should have access to the tools to tell a good story. My writing background includes a master’s degree in creative writing, a Fulbright Fellowship, and a Pushcart Prize nomination. I’ve taught at nonprofits based in the San Francisco Bay Area, at universities and high schools in Romania, and for private events throughout the United States.
If you’re a nice human with a big vision or a bundle of ideas, we might be a great fit for working together.
My Core Values
Three values anchor my practice.
I love connecting with people who are kind, generous, and community-oriented. These values influenced my decision to join Patagonia’s 1 Percent for the Planet.
Compassion: Listen like everyone has a story.
Community: Seek and nurture spaces where stories spark connection.
Reciprocity: Care for people and the planet.
